Bloody
Point
Bloody Point is the southern most planned oceanfront community
on Daufuskie Island. It features over a mile of pristine beach,
one acre oceanfront homesites, an eighteen hole golf course,
tennis courts and state-of-the-art spa. Bloody Point is also
the location of Sandy Lane, Daufuskie Island's only oceanfront
villas.

Melrose
The resort community of Melrose is located on the eastern
oceanfront shore of Daufuskie Island. Melrose features a 52-room
Inn, two- and four-bedroom cottages, three restaurants, a
beach club, tennis and 18-hole championship golf course designed
by Jack Nicklaus. Melrose also hosts an equestrian center
and sportsman's club.

Haig
Point
Haig Point is Daufuskie Island's only private member owned
residential community. Situated on the northern most 1000
acres of Daufuskie Island, Haig Point offers its members 27
holes of ranked golf by Rees Jones, a Light House converted
to a Bed and Breakfast, the Strachan Mansion Community Center,
Beach Club and Equestrian Center.

Oak
Ridge
Oak Ridge is a 200 acre tract of unspoiled maritime forest
bordering a white oceanfront beach. Currently there are 34
oceanfront and second row ocean one acre homesites. Amenities
are available through The Daufuskie Island Club or the Haig
Point Club.

Historic
District
The federal government has listed the entire Island of Daufuskie
on the national historic register. Key historic points of
interest are situated predominantly on the interior of the
Island. These include the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (now the
Historical Society Office), the Janie Hamilton School, the
First Union African Baptist Church, Mary Field School, the
Bloody Point Lighthouse and the Haig Point Lighthouse.
